Build Date

Plugging in a Super Scope into Port 2 will reveal the build date at the start, IIRC. Might be worth investigating whatever else of function that serves (and check if it affects any other Sculptured Software games). HsienKo 20:33, 25 April 2012 (EDT)

I checked that out, but nothing happened. Then again, I was using an emulator. I did test this on another known game while I was at it just to be sure I did it right.. Andrew Rae 22:54, 25 April 2012 (EDT)
Actually Super Star Wars shows it at the start with it - Super Empire Strikes Back shows the date under the "Programmed by Sculptured Software" in the title screen. HsienKo 00:38, 26 April 2012 (EDT)

Should this page be renamed to match the other two games?

I earlier attempted to make the naming standardized across the trilogy by renaming this one to (Super Empire Strikes Back (SNES) but this was rejected because this game is "SNES only". Just to be sure, are the other two games SNES only as well as I had assumed? If so, shouldn't all three have the same formatting for the titles? No, because the other two names are used on other consoles too. ReyVGM (talk) 16:57, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
When was Super Star Wars Return of the Jedi released on another console? I can find evidence Super Star Wars was brought to PS4 through emulation, but nothing regarding Return of the Jedi. Further, as that Super Star Wars release appears to be an emulated ROM, does it really count as a port and not just a footnote of possible changes for the SNES page? Super Return of the Jedi was also released on Game Gear and Game Boy. -- Sheeza (talk) 10:50, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
