Unused track

Is that song still on the game disc at all, or even referenced anywhere on the disc? The description suggests that it isn't, and as such, it wouldn't count as TCRF material, since it'd just be promotional. -YK YK-sig.png 22:53, 14 September 2011 (EDT)

Unfortunately, I don't know enough about this kind of thing to look into it myself. Good-Feel was thorough enough to remove the stream from the released game disc, but I have no doubt that it was at one point in there. Their naming convention for music tracks (or lack thereof) is too messy to draw any conclusions. For all we know, it could still be referenced in some internal list of sound files. What I do know is that the tracks they put up on the site were tracks from the game in progress and not bonus material. All of the level music comes in pairs: a normal track, and a track for the hurried escape. However, there is a notable exception. One cave level's escape theme has no match, and it's yet a remix of the SMB underground theme. At the same time, one cave level's theme was used twice for two different types of cave levels. With those oddities in mind, it's pretty obvious what happened. I apologize if this is outside the scope of the wiki, but I think we should try looking into the game before removing it. There's also a chance that it wasn't included in the stream rip I have. It wouldn't be the first time I found an incomplete one. --Peardian 23:42, 14 September 2011 (EDT)
Yeah, I figured it would be best to check before just out and out deleting the article. Maybe GoldS can have a look? -YK YK-sig.png 23:44, 14 September 2011 (EDT)
http://tanks.dyndns-server.com:2/VG%20Stream%20Rips/Wii/Wario%20Land%20Shake/ - If it's not here, then it wasn't in the game. This is my own personal rip and I'm certain everything's here. Tanks 11:34, 17 September 2011 (EDT)
Thanks! Seems I had all the files after all, so the stream itself is definitely not on the disk. I know someone's been able to look into the game before to rip sprites and stuff, so looking around the game shouldn't be too hard. --Peardian 21:25, 17 September 2011 (EDT)
As my searches, the "Plumber's Cave" isn't on the Game Disc. But it might be on the BRSAR (file with sound effects and voices, sometimes musics). One problem that I can't extract, cause they are banks --Gabrielwoj 22:31, 17 Setemper 2011 (GMT -3)
So, shall I delete this page, or does anyone feel like poking around it for actual unused content? -YK YK-sig.png 21:37, 17 September 2011 (EDT)
No, not yet. There's still more places to look. Also, "Plumber's Cave" was simply the given name of the track from the site. It definitely won't be the name of the stream, since they use a (very loose) naming convention. Unfortunately, this makes it impossible to predict what the file name was. --Peardian 22:24, 17 September 2011 (EDT)

Also, fun fact of the day: According to the streams, either Shake It! Was in production in '06 or those are some generic songs composed way back when...Tanks 23:35, 17 September 2011 (EDT)

Considering how long it takes to develop a game that size, I'm not surprised. After all, the main theme for the game was used for Wario's victory jingle in Brawl. --Peardian 00:07, 18 September 2011 (EDT)

Which site was the 'Lost Track' from? Is it still up, or at least saved on archive.org or somewhere? --Hiccup (talk) 10:21, 20 December 2014 (EST)

Unused Graphics

There are some unused enemies (and bosses) and graphics that gabrielwoj discovered here: http://forum.unseen64.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2927). So there is definitely unused content. I've uploaded some of them to this wiki already. However, I am waiting to see if there is more hiding in there.--From: divingkataetheweirdo 13:24, 18 September 2011 (EDT)

Better you not post yet, I have uploaded more unused stuff (I uploaded unused objects, to be more specific, also some cool unused stuff) on U64, but it's still scheduled. Wait for a moment for upload all. You also can upload the Regional Differences: http://www.unseen64.net/unseen-changes/wario-land-shake-it-vs-wario-land-shake-dimension/) And I could not figure out more stuff because the GFA extractor does not work in all GFA's of the game. --Gabrielwoj 20:17, 18 September 2001 (GMT -3)

Need some help

Okay, I need some help for animate gifs. I don't have many time. All the ZIP files are located in my movies, you can see on the U64 links I posted above... Gabrielwoj 20:56, 6 November 2011 (EST)

Alternate Page for Unused Enemies

I think I'll be setting one up or will use my profile as a temp due to the sheer amount of unused enemy animations I'm digging out of the ISO. Just heads upping anyone that was working on this or wants to help. BTW contact me if you want to help and are competent with animated gifs and or PS. I would really appreciate the help on this one. Sure, I'll help! Just send me a PM on Jul. --Peardian 23:13, 4 October 2012 (EDT)
