We should dump the prototype data here too. --Xkeeper 06:19, 19 May 2010 (EDT)

Indeed, why haven't we yet? I know that the BCDF passcode leads to something that isn't the Day of the Tentacle level for starters.

Also, the more I think about it, the more the "machine" item looks to be an item for the radar. Perhaps in an earlier build, you had to pick up the radar as an item before you could use it, rather than having it available at all times. -- Rick 13:54, 20 July 2011 (EDT)

Error message

So I was messing around with the Genesis version of the game by changing the weapon firing cooldown to 0 (FF05A3 in Gens), and when I tried to fire a continuous stream of my water machinegun, the game crashed and the message "Error in normal task allocation!" appeared in yellow letters at the bottom. Key combinations don't seem to do anything, but the game isn't in a "lag frame only" state. Is this noteworthy? Can someone gather data on the SNES version of the error handler? {EspyoT} 14:07, 14 November 2012 (EST)

Unreachable areas

I remember when I was young, I used to ponder about several areas that are impossible to reach. Now, with the power of memory editing, I was able to go to some of them, and it looks like that the objects there are perfectly functional. An example: the rightmost part of the 4th level has 2 trash bins, which are usable (the items spawn just out of reach though). Is this noteworthy? {EspyoT} 15:32, 14 November 2012 (EST)

The FFIV article seems to support stuff like you're asking, so I'd say it's cool to add here too.--Celice 03:02, 15 November 2012 (EST)
The only problem now is finding someone who knows all the levels, and what areas are inaccessible... As a kid, I only reached level 20 or so. Now I don't have the time... {EspyoT} 15:54, 15 November 2012 (EST)

Unreachable neighbor

According to the current speedrun, there's one neighbor behind a wall that can't be reached in level 22's bonus level. It's at roughly 55:50 in the run. We need more info on this and add it to the article. {EspyoT} 11:33, 27 May 2013 (EDT)
