Oh dear, I do believe I have the vapors. This page contains content that is not safe for work or other locations with the potential for personal embarrassment. Such as: Inappropriate sound files and lots of swearing (including a chatterbot swear script).

To do: There is a lot to discuss and add. The angry listening animation goes unused in the new version. Is there a way to trigger it? Pinpoint which updates changed many of the things here.

Talking Angela is a chatterbot that takes the form of the titular cat. The game is notable for hoaxes.

Making Angela Swear

Back when the chat feature was in the game, there was a way to make Angela swear by typing the phrase "Who is an idiot", which results in Angela saying "I choose (random swear word)". After you do this a few times, Angela will get angry at you. This also occurred in Talking Tom Loves Angela.

The swear words are actually stored in the assets/cs folder.

Making Angela Angry

In the older versions, when you were rude to Angela, she would get mad and refuse to talk to you and forces you to apologize. There is also an angry listening animation in the older version, which can be used when you switch to child mode while she is angry.

In newer versions, you have to say bad things to her two times, rather than poking at her as poking her will reset her back to a happy state.

Internal Oddities

File Names

Some of the sound files have completely inappropriate file names, such as "pokeAss". More such names can be found in Talking Santa.

Revisional Differences

Older versions of the game had a chat feature, and do not have Angela wearing a dress. This was changed in 2016.

Angela's eyes were also different, seemingly due to a goof from animators as there are incomprehensible scribbles on them. The eyes were changed to not have any sort of scribble in the new 2016 version.
