X is a 3D space combat tank game loosely based on Argonaut's earlier Starglider, the SNES version of which would later evolve into Star Fox.
Pictured here is an unreferenced title screen, containing a converted stock image of an astronaut above Earth. A prototype of X did have this title in its ROM header. There is also an options menu hidden in the data for this game.
