The Lion King on the SNES is another popular Disney licensed platformer. This one actually had Disney animators working on it, plus music and samples taken from the movie!
Pictured here is one of the many sketches from an early prototype. Apparently, someone turned OFF the fax machine, which irritated one of the developers. This is seen when trying to play the "Kaboom" bonus game.
