Dr. Mario is a puzzle game featuring Mario, who throws colored pills into a bottle to match with like-colored viruses and destroy them.
Seen here is an early prototype of the game, with the doctor not resembling Mario as much as the final game. There's also a nurse with a sick dog on the left that did not make it into the final version. There also exists a graphic of the dog happy, but this is never shown in the early prototype. The viruses also look different from their final counterparts.
