The 2003 build of Diddy Kong Pilot is somewhat improved from the 2001 build, although story mode and DKR stuffs are sadly gone. The ROM was released on November 5, 2011 by Rareware Central. The build date is February 19, 2003, approximately 5 months prior to Microsoft trademarking "Banjo-Pilot" in July 2003.
The roster has increased to 9 characters, divided into 3 teams (but not 3 characters per team). Team Kong consists of Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Donkey Kong, and Funky Kong. Team Krem consists of Kritter, King K. Rool, Klaptrap, and Klump. The 9th character, Cranky Kong, takes up all four slots of his own team, Team Cranky.
