Suggestion: {{Originally JPEG}} as this template's counterpart

[something witty here]
This image was originally stored as a JPEG within the game. Though our image guidelines say not to use JPEGs, for this special case a JPEG is needed as converting to any other image format would result in quality loss.
This template serves as a notice to other editors not to mark this image for deletion or replacement and not to convert the image to other formats.

I forget if we talked about this before - Andlabs 11:51, 15 December 2012 (EST)

as converting to any other image format would result in quality loss. huh? how does saving a JPEG as, say, PNG lead to quality loss? Let's for a moment ignore the fact that this is completely pointless to do. -- Sheeza 12:39, 15 December 2012 (EST)

Replacefile

When a file other than an image (such as a soundfile) needs to be replaced, it still needs to use {{replaceimage}} in order to categorize it as needing to be replaced, and even then it's stuck in the "Images needing to be replaced" category. Should we tweak this template and the category that goes with it to incorporate other file types? --AquaBat 23:43, 11 August 2013 (EDT)
