The newer entries in the series?

Has nobody yet been able to hack the contents of the games that have come out within the last several years?

I'm actually a tad curious if anybody out there, at all, has yet found anything interesting in any of the games.

This isn't a sudden request to go looking in right now, but if anybody knows anything, or knows anybody who knows anything, it would be neat-o.

Long story short: People looked in a little bit, but not quite enough to report on anything unused. Foxhack was working an article for Wolfenstein: The New Order, but that hasn't been worked on for some time. There are plenty of decompressors for the archives of newer Wolf games, but no one's really taken a good look to see anything interesting inside in many of the other games. If they have found something unused in the newer Wolf engines, we'd definitely be interested. However, we haven't heard of anything yet. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 15:08, 21 February 2016 (EST)
Last I checked, it wasn't possible to extract textures, audio and models directly from the game files. It's possible with memory dumpers but that's too much work for me, heh. What I did manage to get was subtitles and audio transcripts from New Order and Old Blood, but I needed the hard drive space (those games are stupid huge) so I uninstalled the games. I'll go back to them one day. Sorry! I just haven't felt like messing with games for a while. // Foxhack 13:08, 22 February 2016 (EST)
