Previously Undocumented Cheat Codes

There are three cheat codes checked for between two specific points in the title screen code. They are entered on the second controller, and some require hitting both Left and Right simultaneously.

The codes are entered at the beginning of the title screen. You have from just before the lightning animation that brings in the PUSH START BUTTON text starts up to just after the lightning disappears and the text starts flashing to enter the code. The effect will happen as soon as you hit the last button(s).

Codes are listed in the order the game checks for them.

Gens/GS Note: You will need to uncheck Restrict Input in Options > Joypads... before entering these codes.

Sound Test

Code: B, B, B, C, Left+Right

You can choose to play music and sound effects. Up and Down move the cursor, Left and Right selects a track, and C plays the track. There does not seem to be a way out of this mode.

Show Ending

Code: Down, A, A, B, B, B, B, B, C, C, C

To do: Something seems off... is this a bad ending? Or does the game only have one ending? Or is this like Chimera Beast?
