In both the releases, at ROM offsets 0x102B8F-0x102C62, it can be found text that looks like it's part of a driving game:

It's currently unknown if the actual game exists other than just the text.

Level Select/Energy Adjust

At the Options menu, press Down, Right, A, B and the screen will flash. The Level Select will appear when starting a new game, and can be called up at any time by pausing and pressing Select.

Also, while the game is paused, L and R will adjust energy.
