Sound Test

Press and hold Up + Right + A + B on Controller 2 and Up + Right + A + B + Select + Start on Controller 1 at the same time, then press Reset.

Press Left / Right on Controller 1 to select music, and press Left / Right on Controller 2 to select a sound. Press A to restart music. Press any other button to return to the game.

The sound test also contains a build date, indicating that the game sat around for over seven months before release.

Debug Mode

The Sound Test mode also enables the in-game Debug Mode. In the Sound test, press any button, except which used for the sound test controls, to exit back to the game. Now, during the travel mode during game, on Controller 2 press A to add 1000 gold, press B to advance to the next level. Additionally, when you start a new game, before exit the name entry screen, hold one of the following buttons on Controller 2 to start from corresponding chapter:

  • A - Chapter 1
  • B - Chapter 2
  • Right - Chapter 3
  • Left - Chapter 4
  • Up - Final Chapter

The game uses a part of the string
