The Software Toolworks' Star Wars Chess is one of the many chess games that came out in the 90's, but with obligatory FMVs, digitized sounds straight from the movies, and the world's most unnecessarily long title.

This file contains a rather interesting version history of the team's frustrated attempts to complete the game.

Abstracted by SoftWare Toolworks for SEGA
 - BETA rev L (skip I/J/K) for lucas approval- missing credits & pink
 - STARWAR0 is release rev 0 - no flicker, 1.2, still ejects though
 - STARWAR3 has far fewer glitches and attempts a music disk slowdown
 - STARWAR4 caught the 3D-board cursor-mode bug and MAYBE FINAL!!
     (didn't lockup!)
 - STARWAR5 has a restart-2player bug fix plus some.
 - STARWAR6 should have ALL the fixes. I found a possible explaination
     for the lockup.
 - STARWAR7 found similar bug in SLIDE pieces
 - .. debug version ..
 - STARWAR8 tries comm bulletproofing
 - STARWAR9 removed the trap and fixed? the comm
