Developer: Micronics This game has hidden developer credits. |
A port of the arcade game of the same name, strangely only released in the US despite the original game seeing a Japanese release.
Given that this port was developed by Micronics, they didn't exactly miss out on too much.
Test Menu
Power the game on. Wait until the demonstration starts, press A to skip back to the title screen or wait until it finishes. Repeat this process 4 times. When after the fourth demonstration, and the title screen starts moving from bottom to the top side of the screen, do not press any buttons and wait until it stops and then "Blinking" animation start running from the left side of the title name to the right one. Here is the precise timing is needed, you must press A button right after the "blinking" start, but before it passed the capital "T" in the title. If you catch the right moment, the Test menu will appear immediately.
Select menu options by pressing Up / Down, and press Start to use the highlighted option.
You can play any music or sounds from the game, select any level to start.
The option for displaying messages does not have any coding inside.
The invulnerability option is disabled in the final release, so it doesn't work too. But you can re-enable it with the Game Genie code XVXGNPAV. This will also enable an ability to explode any explodable objects on screen by pressing Select during the game.
Secret Ending
Wait for an hour at the ending animation after beating this game. Some kind of military parade will start, first with tanks, then with soldiers and finally finishes with the programmer's secret message. The wait can be skipped by setting $B0 to 00 and waiting for only a few seconds.
