PiracyIcon.png This game has anti-piracy features.

Anti-Piracy

On startup, the game will attempt to write the string TiTus Interactive Studio to the beginning of the save memory (SRAM, flash 64k, and flash 128k but not EEPROM). An official cartridge contains no save memory, so nothing will happen. Older GBA flashcarts and emulators always have the save memory present and thus will successfully write the string. The game will detect this and activate the anti-piracy measure where upon reaching the main menu, the player won't be able to press the A button to select any option.
