Hello there! I am a pretty noobish person who lurks around the internet a lot - not necessarily popular places, but all sorts of places. I try my best and put forth the most I can. On this wiki, I create/work on articles that nobody else (as far as I know of) is focused on.

당신은 데이터 마이닝에서 나를 이길 수 없다!

23,061 pages.
34,614 revisions.
Total score: 23,276

PIECES OF ADVICE

  • The reported article count on the front page is 9659. In reality, it's closer to 7890.
  • Ask before you do. This is especially recommended when you are unsure content sufficiently fits within the wiki's scope. (ex.:Content that focuses on said content, rather than tangentially mentioning it)
  • Talk to people nicely. I admit this is way harder than one would think. Try having others examine your work prior to submission.
  • The site only makes about $164 per month. While this is just enough to keep the site running, it would also be nice to contribute more to keep us documenting unused content and get/document prototypes.
  • Be on the lookout for Hatman. For those not in the know, Hatman is an easter egg used among the Viacom New Media alumni in reference to a boss who might have worn hats rather frequently (hence Hatman). It's little more than a stickman with a top hat on him, often rendered in white. It's like A113, except among video game people. We're still just finding stuff Hatman is in. The list has been moved over to Ehm's user page.

TO DO LIST

Other people are free to help out! I'm not that picky.

(RESTART)

Because the previous to do list was so big, I've decided to cut down a little bit. I'm also not that picky as when things are posted or finished.

  • Gotta find a way to organize all the translations done so far, because we have translators zipping through the articles fast.
  • The Choro Q games have decent numbers of debug menus.
  • Daggerfall - Getting a huge update by the end of next year...hopefully; unused spell effects, revision differences, even more unused graphics, etc.
  • InkBall - Does this have a debug mode?
  • Microsoft Tinker - Same here
  • This debug stuff for Fuurai no Shiren on the SFC/SNES
  • Hold 'Em (Microsoft, 2007) - Also here
  • Go through old DOS games to see if they have debug modes
  • Plenty of games with regional and revisional differences
  • Finding common file formats within games (possibly not including Stuff-it files, but who knows)
  • There's a lot more to add here, but the most important thing to add: coding
    • Wiki stuff is also important; Templates are something I need to work on
      • The Upload Wizard is currently borked. See if we can unbork this somehow.
