This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
Notes: I've played this game on the WiiU, and I recently got it via Steam Family Share the PC version. It's possible that some of those elements are used in the PC version but not on the WiiU version. You're free to edit this page and fix it if necessary before it goes live to the website

To-Do: Add file locations, make the page better (This is very WIP)

Child of Light is a action-RPG made by Ubisoft, using the same engine as Rayman: Origins, including a unique battle system mechanic.

Unused Graphics

Debug-related graphics

Editor
Various icons of a possible editor of some sort.

Developer images
A whole set of different and interesting icons.

Strange Umbra textures

Hmmm...
To do:
Check if it's used in any cinematic (I doubt, as cinematic sprites for characters are completely made out of parts, and not by 3D Model textures).

Umbra has various "mask" textures that has a bluish coloring, pretty much like the cinematics. It contains side view and front view textures>

Other

Hmmm...
To do:
Check if "waiticon" is really unused.

A bunch of strange graphics, mostly used for placeholder.

Developer Notes
On one of the Aurora cinematic sprites, a note saying "New Wings in Alpha" can be seen:

On Aurora dress texture, the capitals "NIP" are written on it.

Hmmm...
To do:
Check if there is another texture for her which doesn't have the traces.

The texture for Umbra (also know as Dark Queen) contains a lot of traces all over the texture.

Other

Robert, the Mousquerate?

Hmmm...
To do:
Check if animations exists for this.

The battle spites for Robert includes parts for him wielding a mousquerate sword, along with facial expressions and new clothes. In the final version, he is an archer.

Beta battle icons
Aurora and Finn icons on this image has a different style compared to the final version.

Old Lady face
Warning: Spoilers
The textures for the Old Lady contains a face, even though that her hair covers her face completely.
"This makes sense, as later in game it shows that the lady is Aurora's Mother. Both textures, for Old Lady and Aurora's mother, contains the same face texture."

Leftovers
Console leftovers.

pokeball
This is going to be re-written for sure, no worries.
The internal name for one of the sun symbols is named "pokeball", the design slightly resembles the Pokeball from the Pokémon series.

burn

Hmmm...
To do:
I wasn't able to extract the specific mip-map, Paint.NET only opens the biggest resolution available, and the .dds plugin for GIMP does not work for me.

One of the mip-maps for the burn.tga image contains a cartoonish flame.

Oddities

Hmmm...
To do:
Get the old animation in action and see if they're different,

On the character battle sprites, a folder called "old" includes old animations and textures for Rubella. For some reason, the texture is just the Gargoyle monster.
