Dirt 2 is a 'sequel' to the previous entry of the Colin McRae series: Dirt. despite being a 'sequel', it focuses more on racing other than rally.
Deleted drivers
According to chief game designer Paul Coleman, he has confirmed that these drivers have been completely cut in development. however these drivers can still be found in the internal database code of the game.
