Below i will store random info relating to anything i'm looking into.

WiiU Gamepad debug/factory settings menu

• The wiiu's Café SDK refers to a gamepad debug menu called "DKMENU".

- Acoording to the DRC pair guide in the sdk "If the L Button and the ZL Button are pressed when the DRC is powered on, the DRC boots in to the DK Menu"

- Doing this on a retail gamepad does nothing.

WiiU Devkit apps

• System Config Tool - general management menu, allows installing titles regardless of title id (titles still need to be packed with the retail common key). also allows pairing 2 gamepads per console.

• Account Manager Tool - Allows creating and deleting users, also allows viewing passwords and emails for registered users.

• Friend Manager Tool - Allows adding friends via an SD card, also allows batch sending friend requests.

• Friend Viewer - Simple version of the friend manager tool that lists all added friends.

• Boss LotCheck Tool - Allows you to browse and export spotpass data, also allows downloading spotpass data from nintendo (couldn't get this working)

• Delete Device Account Tool - Allows you to unlink a nintendo network id from the console without having to call nintendo (didn't test this)

• ecTool - Eshop tool to simulate adding funds detelting tickets and others, nunfunctional beacuse the dev eshop servers are private.

• NFP Util - Shows info about amiibos, allows you to break the game data in an amiibo as well as deleting the local NAND copy of the amiibo

• NOFT Writer - Allows writing dev signed .bin files to a nfc tag, the tag can also be left re writable unlike retail amiibos.

• DRC firmware force update tool - Forces the wiiu to update the gamepad's firmware, this tool refuses to work on retail gamepads.

• Content_dump - ??? (crashes my wiiu)

• nfc_writer - Likely an early version of NOFT Writer as it is found in the same directory in early versions of the sdk. (also crashes my wiiu)

• tvrc-setting - Would allow you to manually set the gamepad's tv remote feature. The sdk also includes a picture of this tool. (also crashes my wiiu)

Note: Changing Viola's demon to anything but Cheshire will change the picture of the selected demon but she will still summon cheshire.
