This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
Hmmm...
To do:
  • Placeholder text
  • Graphics and features that go unused due to the conversion from BTD5 to BTD5D
  • An unused version of the sentry named "SentrySprockets" (sprockets works in the final game by applying a speed upgrade to all sentries instead of switching to a separate tower with increased speed)
  • Stage3DIndicator
  • Version differences

Bloons TD 5 Deluxe is a "premium" port of Bloons Tower Defense 5 for PC, which adds a healthy serving of new content (including remastered tracks from Bloons Tower Defense 4) and removes all the microtransactions. Sadly, due to low sales numbers (especially in comparison to the explosive sales of the mobile version of BTD5 that released later the same year), the game was discontinued and removed from the company's website in 2014, although anyone who registered their key before then can still play it.

Most of the content that was unused in BTD5 up to version (XXXX) is also unused here, so this page only covers unused content exclusive to this game.

Unused Graphics

Power Lines

File:BTD5Deluxe-PowerLines.gif
The power lines on Railway Track have an unused animation where they let off sparks.

Oddities

  • Just like with the Protect Monkey Town track, the Direct Assault track and the special version of Bloonhenge used in the Crucible mission are considered beginner tracks internally, which cannot be seen in normal gameplay.

This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
Hmmm...
To do:
  • More oddities
  • More unused graphics (many of which are shared with BTD4)
  • Apparently a prototype of the editor exists in BTD4?
See, this is why game preservation is important.
This game is defunct.
Do note the game no longer works at all without modifications. This is most likely due to the game's servers being shut down. As a result, further official developments with the game are unlikely to happen.

The Bloons Tower Defense 4 Track Editor allows you to create your very own Bloons Tower Defense 4 tracks and share them with the whole wide world!...or, at least, it used to.

Originally, while you could play other players' tracks for free, you had to buy the ability to create your own tracks for 3600 MochiCoins (roughly $5 USD). The editor later became completely free after MochiGames discontinued their currency system in 2012... until the servers were shut down in 2014 after MochiGames was dissolved by its parent company. Which is a shame, especially since BTD4 is the only game in the series to receive a track editor.

Unused Graphics

Exclusive

File:BTD4Editor-Exclusive.png
This screen is a leftover from Bloons Tower Defense 3, where it was used as a sitelock, but goes unused here. This screen also exists in BTD4, where it is similarly unused, but was updated to use the correct game name and aspect ratio (640x640 instead of 640x480).

Unused Music

300px
Bizarrely, despite it being present in the game's files, this game doesn't use the background music from BTD4 at all. The button to toggle music on or off was also completely removed.

Oddities

This game appears to be based on an earlier build of BTD4, despite launching a few weeks after it. As a result, it contains several minor differences:

  • The sound effects for the Lightsabre Thrower, Super Monkey Storm, frozen Bloons, and BTD4's title screen are missing.
  • The Banana Republic uses completely different artwork in this game:

...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

Bloons Supermonkey 2 for mobile devices takes the Adobe Flash original and quintuples the level count, adds other playable characters, and, confusingly, changes the way "Super Monkey" is formatted.

Unused Text

Weapon Randomizer
Berserk

Unused Mystery Bloon power-ups.

SUPERMONKEY, I MUST ANALYSE THIS AREA WITH THE BLOONOMETER BEFORE YOU PROCEED.

THESE NEW AREAS WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON!

This was used in earlier versions for levels in Helium Heights that had not been released yet. All Helium Heights levels have since been released, so this text goes unused.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Unused quests
  • Version differences
  • Prototype article for the soft-launch version, some differences include balance changes and Max having a different VA

The most ambitious crossover in history, Bloons Adventure Time TD pits the characters and world of Adventure Time and the monkeys from Bloons Tower Defense against an onslaught of Bloons from another dimension.

Unused Allies

Marshmallow Kids

Hmmm...
To do:
I barely did any research or writing for this so far
  • Finish writing this section
  • Find their base cost and upgrade costs
  • Find out if they can actually be used with hacks
  • Rip their graphics and render their models and animations

A set of commented-out names of Allies (internally known as "minions"), along with a note from a developer. Interestingly, one of these Allies is the "Monkey Acolyte", which appears to be an early name for the Super Fans.
