CTF-Command

CTF-Command does not appear in v222.

CTF-December

CTF-December is a level that never made it into the final game. However, it's not anything special, as it is CTF-November, but with some slight modifications. It feels more like a test version of CTF-November that got included into the build than a different level.

Base Bay Edges

The biggest change in CTF-December compared to CTF-November is that the edges of each base in the submarine bay have no walls, allowing anyone to shoot at whoever there.

Red Boxes

There are more boxes horizontally and vertically on the right side of Red's bay in the submarine bay area. To compensate for this, the Health Vials have been moved forward.

Blue Shock Rifle

In CTF-December, the Blue Shock Rifle is next to where the Shock Rifle ammo is in v222's CTF-November.

Underneath the Stairs in the Blue Base

There is a Rocket Launcher and two boxes of Rockets underneath the stairs in the Blue base, instead of a Minigun and Bullet ammo, like in v222's CTF-November.

Blue Flag

There is a pedestal for the Blue flag to sit on. However, the flag is not on the pedestal, but is about as high up as the pedestal is.

Other Red Minigun

The other Minigun found near Red's Big Keg O' Health and Body Armor is not in CTF-December, like in the final game.

CTF-Gauntlet

Lower Path

The lower hallway that connect the two bases does not exist in v222. The only way to reach the other base is via the upper path.

Minigun Room

The large room with the Minigun, Bullet ammo, and the Shock Rifle is not in this version of the map. The Minigun is completely missing, but the Shock Rifle is right in front of where the entrance to the large room would be.

Base Teleports

There are no teleports behind each team's flag. The Red base has Body Armor in a quick dead end hole where the path to the teleport would be. The Blue base also has a dead end where their teleporter could be, but there is nothing in it.

Upper Path Floor Texture

V222 uses a different and less detailed wood texture for the upper path's floor.

Skybox

In v222, Gauntlet's skybox looks perfectly normal. However, in the final game, the areas where the mountain sprites would be are replaced with Unreal Engine 1's default texture. How this happened is a mystery.

Blue BioRifle

The Blue base does not have a BioRifle in v222.

Sniper Rifle

The Sniper Rifle clips through the ground in v222. This was fixed in the final game.

Red BioRifle

There are two changes regarding the BioRifle in the Red base. The BioRifle in the Red base clips through the wall. As usual, this was fixed in the final game so that it's floating above the floor.

The second change is that one of the BioRifle ammo pickups is angled in v222. This is changed in the final game so that it's facing the same direction the other pickup is.

CTF-Tutorial

Spawn Area

In v222, each spawn area has a door that does not open. These doors were removed in the final version.
