This is a sub-page of Proto:Unreal Tournament/Version 222/Deathmatch Levels.

Texture difference

In v222’s take on DM-Zeto, the upper parts of hallways and the Body Armor room use the same metal grey texture seen throughout most of the map. The final game changes it up a bit by making the upper parts of hallways and the Body Armor use a lighter grey metal texture with a dark red band going through it.

Shield Belt room

The way to access the Shield Belt room is different in v222. Instead of walking into a light fixture, the player has to hit a light fixture on a roof (the one near the Shield Belt room with a Medkit underneath it) with their head.

Skybox ground texture

The ground in the various outdoors sections the player can see use a white floor. The final game uses textures that look like snow that has fallen on a mountain.

Red roof

All of the red roofs in the level use a dark blue/grey texture in v222. This texture is still used for the roofs in the Body Armor room in the final’s DM-Zeto.

Window bug

The window to the left of the Pulse Gun near the Body Armor is bugged in v222. When looking through it, one can see part of the lower levels clipping through the skybox. This is fixed in the final game.

Weapon positions

In v222, most of the weapons are on their sides. The exceptions are the Rocket Launcher, the Ripper near the red light pillar room, and the Minigun. The final game changes it so that almost every weapon is standing, except for the Shock Rifle.
