Hello! I'm Vanalker. In the future I will help The Cutting Room Floor to have more content and missing information. Currently I will edit very rarely on normal pages, but someday my brain will get faster and help you!

Links to every website, including The Cutting Room Floor, is not allowed to be put here because it can give negative responses.

About me

I'm Vanalker. I'm from Sweden. I'm messing around with many games to make my own content and find unused content. On this site, I will only help you adding missing information about unused content and debug menus.

Currently I'm messing around with Beetle Adventure Racing! to find unused content and other things. This project can take a long time to finish, but it should be complete as soon as I can.

Documented games

GoldenEye 007 (Nintendo 64)

  • Toxic box: Uses the used toxic barrel textures. Never used.
  • Regional differences: When using the Watch Laser in the European version with Infinite Ammo, it will drop below 1000. The American version, however, does not.

Beetle Adventure Racing!

Hmmm...
To do:
Anything in this section and it's sub-sections can safely be transferred to the actual game page.

Unused beetles in Car Select

3 Beetles cannot be selected in the Car Select. Should these appear anyway with GameShark codes, the Car Select shows that they have no defined stats.

  • BEETLE VIEWS - Views Beetle, a debug beetle that never shows up except for model viewers. It is just an exact copy of Default Beetle #1 since both are identical.
  • BEETLE AI - AI Beetle, which is used by the AI and in Beetle Battle. It has a top speed of 266 km/h (165 mp/h), making it the second fastest beetle (which explains why a Professional/Bonus Circuit AI Beetle can overtake the Police Beetle)
  • BEETLE CHROME - Chrome Beetle, a Beetle that cannot be used because it is reserved for the Invincibility power-up and the Cars cheat (for the cheat option Chrome). It has a top speed of 400 km/h (249 mp/h), making it the fastest beetle in the game.

Hidden black wall

BAR Hidden Wall.PNG

In Coventry Cove, after taking the shortcut out of the town, a "tram" is blocking the way for the player. Some meters behind it is a black wall. It can be seen by driving out of the rail and place the beetle correctly or by tricking the camera into the wall. Since it has collision, it is not possible to drive through it. The black wall is just part of the track.

Things to notice

Parkade

  • The preview image was taken on Metro Madness, not on Parkade, because there's yellow text on the walls.
  • Parkade actually uses sky no. 3 but it is never visible. There are three ways to see it, either turn off the track model, use a model viewer or by tricking the camera into the wall.

Unused track models

The game has six main tracks in single-player, nine multiplayer tracks (including MULT 10, which cannot be unlocked and is untextured), six intro tracks and FINISH (the player's beetle is seen in this track along with some stuff). A few track models are not used by any track, and two are never seen at all as independent track models.

Test track

Picture taken by BAR Discover

No. 15 in TERRA is unused. It's a road with grass and tree walls. There is a bridge in the middle, connecting the both parts. This track is not used by any track at all and can only be seen using model viewers. The textures are very early and is a hint that the track model was made very early in development.

Sunset Sands Under The Ground Shortcut Area

Hmmm...
To do:
Rewrite all this text.

This model is unused because the developers used it as a test area. The differences are:

  • If you go far away from your current position, the model will disappear, piece by piece and show the latest sky you changed to. By changing the background to a black one, you will not be able to do so.

Unused "game modes"

Beetle Multiplayer In Stunt O Rama.PNG

Normally only up to two players can race, but by using the Debug Menu, it is possible for three or four players to also compete. However, the HUD will not appear, and the main tracks are unplayable for some reason.

The game freezes if the player forces it to make three or four players to appear in the Car Select; only two players were ever intended to appear there.

Using the Debug Menu, it is possible to start Beetle Battle with only one player. This does not work, however, since it will automatically add a second player.

The GameShark code 801CB2B1 0005 reveals an unused game mode; but it's just the Two Player mode without a track model in the track select menu.
