Screenshots

Whenever possible, we'd like to have these as PNGs. JPEGs are much too lossy. --From: CounterDiving (talk) 19:09, 28 February 2021 (UTC)

I understand. I used the Steam overlay to take the screenshots. I tried to use Screenshooter.NET but it does not seem to work (most likely obsolete). If you have an alternative that can take screenshot of old DirectX games, please let me know (Lightshot does not work). FoxMcCloud45 (talk) 19:19, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
Well, I just found out that Steam has a "Save an uncompressed copy" option in its Settings (In-Game tab), so I have updated the screenshots with the new PNG files made by Steam with this option enabled. FoxMcCloud45 (talk) 20:57, 28 February 2021 (UTC)

TF2 Open Beta DS

Thanks for pointing that out, I was entirely unaware it was still available. 👍 4️04️UNF 💬 ✏️ 12:27, 14 February 2022 (UTC)

If you ever make any proto pages for any game after EP2

Please do {{namespaces}}. It would be easier for us all to access the pages. The preceding unsigned comment was added by L337 KR3W (talk • contribs)

I am currently preparing the Source Particle Benchmark page. If there's a specific game you have in mind, you can let me know.

P3 build of EP2 won't work

It says "Engine Error: Could not load library client" everytime i click on the ep2.bat file. L337 KR3W (talk) 05:45, 1 October 2022 (UTC)

That's normal. The Episode Two and Team Fortress 2 DLLs from the leak are not compatible with the engine used by Postal III. They both cannot be run. Assets must be inspected to check for differences, which is sensibly more work.
Folks writing the TF2 pages have noted this on the Prototype page.
