Careful with BULLY's audio exports!
Hey there! Just wanted to let you know the audio quality for the .ogg files you're uploading doesn't sound the way it should. I'm not sure what you're doing to export them, but if you're using foobar2000's vgmstream plugin, it works fine out of the box (only thing is you have to disable the audio loop in the settings).
Thanks for contributing to the article lately! --SimonBestia (talk) 11:34, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
- I did exactly what you said, I used that plugin in Winamp to extract them and only disabled the looping setting. Can you tell me what quality setting do you have in Audacity? I always have it at 10, I don't know if that could be causing it. FrancoAguila123 (talk) 16:35, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
- Audacity being at 10 is fine, as that's what I use. Since you mentioned Audacity, does the quality of the file change after converting them to .ogg or does the .rstm itself sound like that?
- foobar allows you to listen to the .rstm directly. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Winamp.--SimonBestia (talk) 17:35, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
- It seems to happen after converting the RSTMs to WAV via Winamp itself, that's what happens. Please tell me how to do it right from now on. Might as also want to make a note about it since anyone can also make that mistake. FrancoAguila123 (talk) 17:50, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
- Could you try using foobar? Works out of the box for me and the quality doesn't change when exporting to .ogg when compared to what its player sounds like when it's still an .rstm.
- Disable the loop by going to Library>Configure>Playback>Decoding>vgmstream (after you downloaded its plugin)>configure, and tick "ignore looping".
- You can then right click on an opened .rstm>Convert>quick convert>Ogg Vorbis. This way you directly export it as an .ogg without having to convert it.
- No need to mess with any other option. This should help! --SimonBestia (talk) 18:40, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for Fixing My Mistake (Adventure ReBirth Edit)
Thank you for undoing that redundant edit I made to the Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth page earlier. I'm a little off today.

Reverting Edits
A user has expressed concern that you've been unnecessarily reverting some page edits recently. I fact-checked the changes made to the Street Fighter III 2nd Impact: Giant Attack intro and didn't find anything wrong. Also, while the rules don't state that game intros must have the game title, it's often more aesthetically pleasing, so please don't chide other users for adding it. --Rachel Mae (talk) 00:39, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
Sonic X Shadow Generations
Why are you deleting the article I created??? I tried to make a start of it. The game literally just released yesterday and I was trying to help out and add the article... And I was just trying to start it out. I'm pretty sure Frontiers did that in older revisions. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Japanesesonicfan (talk • contribs)
- My man, that is not how it works. It says in the rules page that placeholder articles are not allowed and a page must have at least one thing to document before it's created. It's literally the first rule written here, bro: https://tcrf.net/Help:Contents/Creating_Articles#Should_I_Create_This_Article.3F --FrancoAguila123 (talk) 13:17, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
