Tower Escape & Test Room Connection

I rolled back your edit regarding being able to reach the Ganondorf test room from the Ganon's Tower escape map, as it seems this is just a glitch and doesn't represent a true connection between the maps.

Exits in Ocarina of Time were manually defined by the developers for each scene header, and the sole header for the Tower Escape Exterior map (026) only defines the following exits, all of which lead to the Ganon's Tower (Collapsing) map (014):

0179	014	Ganon's Tower (Collapsing)
0134	014	Ganon's Tower (Collapsing)
01B5	014	Ganon's Tower (Collapsing)
0256	014	Ganon's Tower (Collapsing)
03DC	014	Ganon's Tower (Collapsing)
03E0	014	Ganon's Tower (Collapsing)
03E4	014	Ganon's Tower (Collapsing)

There are no exits in any map in the game that lead to the Ganondorf test room, unfortunately. It's cut off from everything.

REPLY: Thanks for the info. Too bad I thought there might actually be something. Thanks again for the info. Now I feel like a complete moron XD --GANONdork123 (talk) 1:28 PM, 12 October 2015 (EDIT)
Over a year ago, Airikita came across a very similar "finding" on The GCN, which turned out to be a broken ROM. Also, the description of that new video showcasing this even says "*I Believe you have to translate the debug rom to english and apply the fixes using Zelda Edit for this to work!!!!!*", so... yeah. --Xdaniel (talk) 17:46, 12 October 2015 (EDT)
Yeah, on further examination, it seems to be an altered ROM. We thought it might be Airikita's handiwork from when she was investigating that room. Thanks for the info! That solves that mystery. :) I hope those YouTubers won't be too disappointed. GANONdork, maybe you could break the news to them? There's still lots of stuff to find and investigate in Zelda, so discoveries are still very possible, at least. --GlitterBerri (talk) 20:54, 12 October 2015 (EDT)
I think Taven is already working on an apology video letting them know what happened. I was thinking of taking all those unused objects that have no screenshots or other info and loading them to see what happens and then reporting back. --GANONdork123 (talk) 1:28 PM, 12 October 2015 (EDT)
Please do. :) --GlitterBerri (talk) 18:28, 16 October 2015 (EDT)
