Zeliard

Hello Kuro-chan. Can you please provide the full PC-88 and Sharp X1 Zeliard credits? --Pissanini (talk) 17:09, 31 October 2017 (EDT)

Presenting the credits as-is, including all Engrish spelling issues. The differences between the two versions can be found in the Sharp X1 page. I am curious as to why you want the information.

(Updated August 11th, 2018 to include the DOS credits. A lot of changes between that and the PC-8801 version.

Thanks a lot for sharing the info. I was just checking various Game Arts credits, and wanted to see the full Zeliard credits (and compare with the DOS version), that's all. No special reason.
If you don't mind I will share this info elsewhere. Cheers. --Pissanini (talk) 11:51, 1 November 2017 (EDT)
Absolutely. Not a problem. I do not know where you intend for this information to go, but I have a lot of game data related to Zeliard, much more than most fan sites would have, even the tripod one. I also have detailed information on the 2 JP versions.--Kuro-chan (talk) 16:03, 2 November 2017 (EDT)
That's very nice. There are not many contributors who are into old Japanese computers I guess, so... keep it up. And I just wanted to share the credits, not the other cool stuff. Thanks again. --Pissanini (talk) 14:47, 6 November 2017 (EST)

Zeliard resources

While I'm here, I'd first like to say that I appreciate your contributions to the site, and I've found quite a few of them rather interesting. But right now I'm specifically curious about all the Zeliard data you've gathered. Are you planning to upload that information somewhere? And do you happen to know of any sites that have a comprehensive set of ripped graphics available? The images you uploaded are nice, and I was hoping that a site like The Spriter's Resource might have more from any version of the game, but all I know about is the Tripod fansite you mentioned. Any others? 7HeroesForceBattle (talk) 00:11, 3 August 2018 (EDT)

Hello. I have several text files worth of research, data I have collected from a memory editor, etc., on all three versions of the game, plus additional research and observations that I had not gotten around to documenting. I would strongly suggest you connect to the Discord or IRC service (I can view both on IRC) and get in touch with me on there so we can further discuss this. Unfortunately, I have very little in the way of sprites related to the game, mostly odds and ends that I grabbed for the TCRF articles. Interestingly, I left a message on the Tripod site a couple days ago in regards to the info I have collected. The only other pages I have seen for the game are mostly reviews and very little on the game content, itself. Kuro-chan (talk) 00:41, 3 August 2018 (EST)

Zeliard Special mode message

I have unfortunate news about the Special mode message in Zeliard.exe. Having reverse engineered zeliard.exe and documented all code paths, there is no code referencing this string. I suspect it was probably used during development and they removed the ability to enter a 'special mode' but left the string present.
