Luigi's Mansion Speedy Spirits
Do these unused Speedy Spirits you documented on the page not move normally if you set them up to spawn from furniture like the used ones? Or did you set them up to spawn them from furniture but they still didn't behave normally? --Hiccup (talk) 14:08, 4 November 2018 (EST)
- Yep, they don't work even when spawned from furniture. --LMFinish (talk) 14:20, 4 November 2018 (EST)
- Hmm... did you try replacing an existing speedy spirit with an unused one? (I guess you can do that just by changing the enemy name?) --Hiccup (talk) 15:58, 4 November 2018 (EST)
- I've re-written the Unused Speedy Spirits section on the LM page a bit. Could you check if the information is correct (i.e. that I have interpreted what you wrote correctly)?:
- ---
- The game has 25 Speedy Spirit actors, but only 15 of those are used (iyapoo1-15) - the other 10 (iyapoo16-25) were scrapped. Apparently, only actors 16-20 still have their code intact, but they don't seem to use the behavior code section (named EnItemObake) used by the used Speedies. Actors 21-25 seem to have had their code deleted and only parameter files / DOL actor entries remain for them, which means they cannot be spawned into the game at all. 16-20 can be spawned - although they seem broken from a first glance. UsIng the GBH's scanner to see them (or editing their enemyinfo's invisible property to 0) reveals they're using the fuyu animation and have hearts; however, they can't be interacted with in any way.
- ---
- Also, I've got a few questions about iyapoo16-20:
- Is the fuyu animation displayed by them displayed by the used Speedy Spirits?
- Do the used Speedy Spirits have hearts?
- Do they/can they move at all?
- Do they use the usual sounds?
