You're a Mechanical Man

I said this on Twitter, before, but I want to say it here, too: you're a dang machine, Nyerguds! All your work with the Command & Conquer games and communities, and all your work here, is vastly under-appreciated.

Thank you so much for continuing to bring forth news and updates and trivia about one of the best real-time strategy games – and especially the first game of the series!

Ha, no problem. I've been making edits to the C&C1 pages for a while now (and I wrote pretty much all of the N64 version page), but it seems that with the Remaster, some more interesting stuff was added to it, and after getting some notifications, well, it just got the ball rolling once more. I honestly know C&C1 so completely inside and out that I often just don't realise there's still stuff to tell that people might not be aware of.
Hmm. There's actually still more like that, now I think about it. The whole Chan mission mess isn't mentioned.

Unused Decomposing Animations

Under this section you mention:

Four of the infantry units, namely the Minigunner (E1), Grenadier (E2), Bazooka (E3), and Flamethrower (E3)

I assume flamethrower is meant to be E4? --Hawk (talk) 23:31, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

Ah yep. Was still editing stuff, but yea, I missed that, thanks.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert [Behind The Scenes]

An old pre-release video for Red Alert if you're interested. I noticed an old cameo at 1:12 for example. --Hawk (talk) 12:54, 14 July 2022 (UTC)

Thanks, but, there's nothing in there I haven't seen yet. I'm fairly sure I got some screenshot with a crisp version of that landing boat icon, in fact :)
I hope to get into RA later, but at the moment, I'm still not done sifting through tons of C&C1 prerelease material. -Nyerguds (talk) 13:31, 14 July 2022 (UTC)
