I'm putting what was on the Minstrel Song talk page below so that it still exists, but next time you want to discuss something about a game that doesn't have an article yet, you can use the Content to expand talk page, or post something on the forum. --Devin (talk) 21:11, 27 August 2014 (EDT)

Bug with Khellendros?

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/924486-romancing-saga/69932848

All right, so I finally got Khellendros to drop (first time ever) but now it appeared to have some sort of weird glitch.

Everytime I would get into a battle, instead of Khellendros appearing in my character's hand (Jamil), an enemy appears. That's right, my character holds onto an onscreen enemy and beats other enemies with it. It's just... the weirdest thing.

Here is an imgur albulm showing this glitch in action: http://imgur.com/a/WGCUu

(And I'm sorry for the poor quality of those screen shots, I was taking them on my cell phone.)

From what I can tell, whenever I'd fight a group of enemies, the Khellendros would 'transform' into whatever enemy is in the second slot (and that enemy won't appear on the battlefield, even though you can still target him.

Has anyone else had a glitch like this? I thought I'd share because it was so weird. Anyway, I've since been able to fix the problem by tempering Khellendros.

Another user says:

The first time I got Khellendros, it was invisible when I first equipped it. I switched the wielder from Claudia to Guella Ha and it was visible normally on him. When I switched it back to Claudia it showed up fine with her too.

Best I can figure there's something that causes Khellendros to load its model from the wrong place sometimes. It probably got overlooked in testing due to the rarity of the weapon and the fact the bug doesn't always seem to manifest itself.

Indeed, I never saw the bug after the first time. I wonder if either it doesn't apply to tempered versions or it starts reading the proper model the next time the game is loaded.
