Verticube is one of the very first Lumines clones to be released on a commercial format.

Unused Graphics
fallback.jpg, found in resources\base\images, is a placeholder for missing textures.
Debug Console
A debug console can be opened by pressing ` during gameplay. Below is a list of commands, which must be inserted as "set [command] [value]". Inserting commands also works in the command line, and some only work there.
Version Differences
Five versions of the game are known to exist; they are versions 1.0, 1.01, 1.2 and 1.3 of Verticube, and the sole version of Luminator. However, only the demos for each of the English versions, as well as the full Luminator game, are known to have been archived.

The game's first release.
v1.01
The game's installer was changed from Clickteam to Innosetup.
v1.2
Released on May 24, 2006. According to this archived web page, the changes are as follows:
- Added Mac OS X support.
- A harder difficulty level, "Normal", was added.
- The sweeping clear bar is more closely timed to the songs' tempo.
- Sample quality has been improved.
- Highscore tables were added for each of the game's difficulties.
- The theme order was changed.
v1.3
Released on December 27, 2006. According to this archived web page, the changes are as follows:
- Added support for Intel Macs.
- Compatibility fixes.
- Support for localizations has been added.
Luminator
Released in September 2006. This version is based on v1.2, with a few changes:

- The Sludge Factor skin plays "Song for James" by Dkdent. In Verticube, it was "Stay in Progress" by Pomp.
