We're still looking into the rumor about a dozen unlockable vowels.

Player Name

The DITL resource for the name entry screen lists Player 1 as Michael Coyote. This is overridden at runtime by the player name in the preferences file, which until you change it is simply "Michael." (Michael Coyote is credited as a programmer.)

Dialog Stubs

Wheel Featuring Vanna (Mac OS Classic) - About.png

This rudimentary about box survives in the resource fork, despite being superseded by a much more fleshed-out one bearing version number 1.0.

Ditto for this early prefs dialog, with its single settable preference.

Speed Test

Clearly, the devs recognized that hardcore gamers would have certain expectations of a Wheel of Fortune title. These speed tests must have been crucial in optimizing the graphics for a wide range of 2D cards.
