Disabled Cheat Code
Patch the game's ROM at location 0x000F75B8 to 4E71 4E71 4E71 (three NOPs) or enable Game Genie codes RF4T-86Z2 RF4T-86Z4 RF4T-86Z6. At the options menu, press A, B, A, C, A, B. A sound will play to confirm correct entry. Go to the main menu, hold one of the following button combinations then press Start to begin the game from a corresponding stage.
- C - Stage 2 Jungle
- B - Stage 3 Ancient Temple
- B + C - Stage 4 Chimera Base
- A - Stage 6 Inner Core
A similar cheat may be found in the Sega CD version. For some reason, in the Genesis version they programmed all the logic but then simply overwrote the result with initial stage number at start, so the cheat does not work in the released version.
