Every Yo-kai in the game is given unique befriending dialogue, but some cannot be seen due to various circumstances. The Yo-kai that are only obtained via Fusion, Venoct, who is only befriended via the storyline and Kyubi, who only appears in a Request have quotes that never shown, and were even translated into other languages!

Side note: Any Yo-kai can be befriended via StreetPass except for those that are Rank S and Rare Yo-kai.

There's an eyebrow-raising amount of unused quotes of Yo-kai that cannot be obtained from the Crank-a-kai, where every only 67 out of 223 are available from there and the other '156' have lines for them, even Legendary Yo-kai! Some of them would be used in later games.

For the sake of consistency, they will be arranged via tribe order and not internal order.

Most of the text seem to be related to placeholder status effects during battle, which are replaced with more creative messages in the final. interestingly, the last three lines relate to a scrapped status where Yo-kai may find themselves hiding within dirt.
