This is a sub-page of Yo-kai Watch 3.

Yo-kai Watch 3 had a hefty amount of new content added over the course of the game's lifespan...and eventually some stuff added exclusively to the localization.

NOTE: the international versions use the Japanese Ver 4.0 update as a base.

Ver 1.1

Released on July 14, 2016.[1]

  • Bug fixes.

Released on August 5, 2016.[2]

  • Sighborg Y can now be encountered as a roaming Yo-kai.
  • Fixed a bug where selecting save data would cause an error message to appear.
  • Some Japanese lines of dialogue where food is given to Yo-kai during battle were changed.
  • Fixed a glitch where the player could get stuck in the past during the Miradox Baffle Board.
  • Other bug fixes.

Ver 1.3

Released on August 31, 2016[3]

  • Fixed a glitch that made Chapter 3 on Hailey's side impossible to complete.
  • Fixed a bug related to the order of actions during battle.
  • Fixes an exploit where the player could make items at certain spots infinitely appear by collecting the item and cancelling it at the right time allowing them to rack up an infinite amount of items found on the ground.[4]
  • Fixes an exploit at the Daruma Tower where the player could make sparkling spots appear infinitely at Uchikage Venue by collecting the items and playing the first cutscene of the Movies app in the event section before cancelling and making the spots reappear.

Ver 1.4

Released on September 28, 2016[5]

  • Terminyanator and Plundros were added as a Yo-kai.
  • Two new Quests relating to them were added.

Ver 2.0

Released on December 15, 2016[6] in conjunction with the Sukiyaki version.

  • A new Blasters T mode was added, which can be started by activating a Quest.
  • Supernyan, Hovernyan S, Hovernyan Awoken, Yoganalisten, Judgebrick, Urnfulfilled, Sad-To-The-Bone, Venoctobot, Kyubot, Ultimate Robonyan, Molar Petite, Mee 2, Koalanyan, Jibanyan T, Komasan T, Your Eggscellency, Deadcool, Sweattuce, Mr. Blue-Shy, Amplifly, Ulteria, My-Baaad, Sunk'nsoul, Crummy Mummy, Kaped Kommander, Tofupyon, Ed Zoff, Gorgeous Ambassador, Hinozall, Zazel, Prostanocchio, Treasure Pest, Jeanne-Ne-Sais-Quoi, Whipser Kongming, Jyuroujin, Fukuroukuju, Majinkaamen, King Deadward, Pandora, Comic Genieus, Nyastet, Komanubis, Gabby, Teducator, Gentlemutt, City Licker, Whyvern King, Lord Enma, Rgt. Zazel, Hinozall Awoken, Ancient Enma and Lord Enma Awoken were added as Yo-kai.

Ver 2.1

Released on December 28, 2016.[7]

  • Fixed a glitch pertaining to the levels of items in Zombie Night being reset. Unfortunately, the fix caused earned items to disappear from the mode.
  • Big fixes.

Ver 2.2

Released on January 22, 2017.[8]

  • Rampajah and The Boracle were added as Yo-kai.
  • The Quests of Terminyanator and Plundros are now available normally rather than via a limited-time Universal Studios Japan tie-in.
  • Bug fixes.

Ver 2.3

Released on January 27, 2017.[9]

  • Fixed a bug introduced in Ver 2.2, where Puninyan, Punikoma, Jibanyan T and Komasan T would not appear in their respective locations.
  • Other undocumented fixes.

Ver 3.0

Released on April 14, 2017.[10]

  • The title screen graphic gets a change, where Sushi, Tempura and Sukiyaki is now called "Special Sushi" (特上スシ), "Excellent Tempura" (絶品テンプラ) and "Special Sukiyaki" (特選スキヤキ).
  • Cymbalina, Mumbles, Roary, Letsbifrenz, Wack o' Lantern, Moolinda, Neighthan, Big Fish, Alpina, Lunie, Blizzie, KJ, Solar Enma, Infinite Enma, Umbral Enma, Holey Moley, Shogun King and Captain Thunder were added as Yo-kai.
  • San Fantastico and Harrisville were added as locations.
  • Enma Palace dungeon was added to the Blasters T mode.
  • Two new quests relating to KJ and Blizzie were added.

Ver 4.0

Released on August 30, 2017.[11]

  • Indiana Jaws, Shovulcan, Zomboy, Nyanses II, Meopatra, Fitwit, El Dorago, The Hinix were added as Yo-kai.
  • Tenku Garden Nubiron was added as a dungeon.
  • Five new Quests were added.

International
