Different Realm: Kuon no Kenja (ディファレント・レルム 久遠の賢者) is a turn-based RPG for the PC-9800 series, using a positional combat system common to many Glodia games. It's about a guy who goes to a different realm.

Debug Mode

In the menu options, there's a tantalizing option for "Debug Mode" that cannot be normally selected. It is blued-out and pressing it does nothing.

If you set 0x6000:C00 to 0xFF, it still displays as blued-out but you can select it to bring up the menu.

All Items

Numpad left/right arrows flip the pages. Selecting any of these gives you one of that item. Many of these items appear to be unused/debug items, with names like "アイテム120" (Item120) and "イベント160" (Event160).

Variables

Displays various gameplay progression flags, and their current values, which are unhelpfully labeled AAA-ZZZ. It's not currently clear what any of them mean.

Noise Pollution

Sound test for SFX. None of the audio is labeled - it's all just numbered.

Resurrection

Fades out the screen and restores the party's health and status.

Game Over

Exits the game.
