Gun Fight is Midway's version of Taito's Western Gun, one of the very first games in the "two guys shooting at each other for no reason" genre. The big change is that Gun Fight used a microprocessor instead of TTL-based hardware, which is yet another first.

A straight and diagonal arrow present in the game's font, tiles 3D and 3E respectively. It's currently unknown if similar tiles appear in Western Gun.
