Summary

Screenshots from the recreated introduction of BS Zelda no Densetsu. Due to the fact that these images were based off of VHS footage of the original game being played and the source graphics streamed from St.GIGA's servers are lost, this is the best quality possible. This introduction was hacked back into the game and given an English translation, as seen on the BS Zelda homepage. This means that the text and image quality are not accurate. However, the screenshots are from the actual hacked ROM, and the backgrounds are from VHS recordings of the actual game. This is why the male player character is in pixel-perfect quality while the rest of the image is not - the player sprite is loaded off of the BS-X BIOS cartridge that the player would have had inserted (or loaded via an emulator), while the other images were streamed off of St.GIGA's servers. Thus, the other images had to be recreated off of VHS footage.

This image is a screenshot of a(n) Satellaview game.
This is a mockup image of a(n) Satellaview game.
