Agent Hugo: Hula Holiday is a 3D platform game staring Hugo the TV troll that is played from a behind view perspective. While on vacation Agent Hugo notices that a big fly with his robotic trash cans is transforming a nearby island into a dump, in order to feed his fly army.

Debug Features

A settings file named Game.ini can be found in all three versions. Setting a value to 1 enables an option, while 0 disables the option.

ShowVersion

Displays "Version 6.0" for Windows, "Version 6.1 SLES-55365" for the PS2, "Version 6.2" for the Wii on the top left corner of the screen. The version is actually right above the options in Game.ini.

Audio

Enables/disables audio.

QuickBoot

Skips the opening credits and logos.

The debug level select menu displays the theme and name of each level, as well as the internal file name and what sprite file is used.

Enables a debug menu that can be selected from entering a level and pause the game.

A debug display also appears while the main debug option is enabled. It details the player's x/y/z position, speed and other statistics.

Enables a menu in the pause menu that can give some options. Actually the debug menu is a copy of Agent Hugo: Lemoon Twist debug menu. The "Invulnerability", "Unlock all levels" and "Soak Test" works normally in game. "Jump to the end of the level" is broked in game and teleports you in position 1000000.00/1.00/0.00 out of level map. "Collect all lemons " nothing does.

Other Options

The Windows version has additional debug options available if the game is running in windowed mode under the View tab.

Render Modes

There are four different render modes: the regular one, a solid color one where everything is white except the outlines, a lined wireframe and a dotted frame mode.

Unused Maps

Unused Level13

"LEVEL13.3DF" and "LEVEL13.PLF" files that can be found on Windows and Wii versions is a unused level in a game. The actual level 13 in a game uses LEVEL14.3DF and LEVEL14.PLF.

The level consists entirely of beach islands that you pass through. This is the only level in game that have two endings, either taking the note or the hammer in the boss fight.

Unused Levels from Agent Hugo: Lemoon Twist in Wii version

"LEVEL19.3DF", "LEVEL19.PLF", "LEVEL21.3DF", "LEVEL21.PLF", "LOBBY.3DF" and "LOBBY.PLF" files can be found in the Wii version of the game. It is levels from Agent Hugo: Lemoon Twist.

Unused Enemy

The green fly-like thing is only used in the unused level and no other levels in game. They are the strongest of the three types - blue, orange and green.

Unused Cinematics

"BRGLogo.wmv" on Windows and "BRGLogo.PSS" on PS2 is video of Beyond Reality logo and is unused in game.

ITE

"ITE.PSS" on PS2 version is video of It's all about entertainment logo and is unused in game.


Unused Sound

There are "winner_1.ogg" on Windows version and "WINNER_1.SDF" on PS2 and Wii versions is unused music file in game.

Regional Differences

On the Windows version the title screen is different if you select different language. In Game.ini in "Language=" you can change the value of languages. The Russian language is value 25. Also if the language is Russian, the game uses DemoRus.wmv, not Demo.wmv.
