This is a sub-page of Angry Birds (iOS).
| To do:
- Find and check every version. There is unused or early content that were removed in the transition between different versions.
- Should the retina graphics be documented here too? (Maybe make a section for Angry Birds HD that documents the retina graphics?)
- There's more stuff that needs to be documented here:
- The app icon.
- The game's logo.
- The level end screens being updated to the Rio ones.
- The OnomatoShark font in older versions being replaced with the AngryBirds font.
- Revised button graphics.
- Power-Up icon changes.
- And additionally, Super Seeds being changed into Power Potion.

- All of the birds' post-collision and some ability sprites got changed.
- Red and the Blues' post-collision sprite was the only sprite changed about them.
- Chuck's squawking idle and post-collision were changed to the Chrome ones.
- All of Matilda's sprites were changed to her Chrome sprites.
- Hal's sprites were also changed to his Chrome design.
- Terence remains the same.

Poached Eggs Theme 1-3 Backgrounds
The first three themes for Poached Eggs were given a revision that modified colors a bit and added foreground sprites.
- The background elements were altered to be slightly desaturated.
- The blades of grass for Themes 1 & 2 were adjusted to be a lighter color.
- Taller grass, ferns, cacti and rocks were added in Theme 1, 2, and 3 respectively.
Sounds
Bomb's Sounds
Bomb's unused select sound from the In-game Trailer is found nowhere in any version of the game, not even v1.0. For whatever reason, it was found in the files of Angry Birds Arcade.
Bomb's flying sound from the in-game trailer was also originally unused, but would eventually be used in 7.1.0 and onward for an unknown reason.

Misc.
Splash Screens
The splash screen would go through many revisions and revamps throughout the game's history.
1.0 - 1.3.4
|
1.4.0 - 1.5.0
|
1.5.1 - 1.6.3
|
2.0.0 - 6.0.1

- The original splash screen that existed since the very first version of the game all the way up to version 1.3.4 is one of the more distinct ones, featuring a unknown grey bird (presumably intended to be Bomb) and a much different design for Red. King Pig is also present in this splash screen, making this the only time he's ever appeared in the game's splash screen.
- In 1.4.0, would undergo a major overhaul that goes for a more realistic design. This splash screen depicts Red bursting through a stone castle, causing pigs and debris to go flying everywhere. Bomb, Matilda, one of the Blues and Chuck are also present here.
- 1.5.1 would slightly update the 1.4.0 splash screen by changing the stone castles to structures made out of multiple materials, similar to the ones seen in-game and update the game's logo to the 2011-2015 version. The designs of the pigs would also designs altered in this splash screen.
- 2.0.0 would get another overhaul, which completely drops the realistic approach for an art style more akin to the actual game. This one depicts Red, Chuck and Bomb destroying the Pig's structure in a canyon-like setting. The Eggs also make their first appearance in the splash screen.
- In 6.0.6, to celebrate the release of The Angry Birds Movie in 2016, the splash screen got yet another overhaul, this time by updating the birds and pigs to look like their designs in the movie.
- 6.1.0 would later make some adjustments to 6.0.6's splash screen, such as updating the game's logo to the modern one, rearranging the places of the characters and background debris, and also adding the movie version of the Mighty Eagle to the background.
- And finally, version 7.5.0 and onwards would revert the splash screen back to the 2.0.0 one, with the only notable difference being the updated modern logo seen in 6.1.0's splash screen.
Cutscenes
The cutscenes were changed around the same time Birdday Party was added. The original cutscenes featured a painted/realistic look for the cutscenes, excluding the birds and pigs. The intro cutscenes also infamously uses a beta design for Chuck, suggesting the Poached Eggs intro cutscene was made while the birds' designs were being finalized. Curiously every intro cutscene featured this beta design (except for The Big Setup) even after Chuck's design was finalized. The current cutscenes changed how they look entirely making it fit with the art style of the birds and pigs. The current cutscenes also use the Chrome designs for both the birds and pigs, even using Chuck's final design.
