Regional Differences

A Brazilian Portuguese-language version of the game is known to exist, in which it was rebranded as a Woody Woodpecker game, under the title of Vertigem Maluca (roughly translating to "Crazy Vertigo").

• While the title screen in Leaf Boarding! is a still image, the one in Vertigem Maluca contains many animations.

• In Leaf Boarding!, it is possible to choose between Brandy and Mr. Whiskers as the player character. In Vertigem Maluca, however, Woody Woodpecker is the only playable character, and the player chooses between three different plank types instead.

• The setting in both games are completely different, with Leaf Boarding! taking place in a swamp while Vertigem Maluca taking place in a rocky hill. As such, the "Ancient Power" effect was changed accordingly.

• To fit with the new Woody Woodpecker theme, several obstacles were changed in Vertigem Maluca, such as some of the wild animals being changed to Buzz Buzzard, Knothead and Splinter.
