Profiles
Profiles were a feature present in the original Modern Warfare, which allowed the player to store multiple saves on one computer. However, this was one of the many other features that were axed during the game's development. This feature was likely scrapped late in the game's development as these menus look like the final game's menus. While its menus and localized strings are present in the game's files, the scripts they relied on are not.
CD Keys
To do: Reformat this. It looks terrible. |
The game has a bunch of menus from when Infinity Ward was planning to require you to make an IWNet account on your own to play online, including the option to input a CD Key.
Menu File Name: cdkey_menu.menu You can enter text into the fields, but the code for verifying CD Keys appear to no longer exist in the game's files. |
Gear
Start New Server
A Call of Duty 4-style server creation menu. It is almost a verbatim copy of the one used in that game. Cut due to dedicated servers being replaced with the matchmaking system.
Quick Messaging
Another cut feature inherited from Call of Duty 4.
