In 2021, a build of Captain Blood from 2010 was released online alongside a 2004 and 2005 build of the game.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Debug keys option present in Documents\My Games\captain blood\engine.ini
  • The xlive console command describes fifty achievements, many of which are mentioned on the SteamDB page. These do not appear nor are mentioned in regular gameplay.

Multiplayer

The 2010 build only features a singleplayer mode. There is no multiplayer option that can be chosen. However, there are references to a multiplayer mode within the game's files. There are five multiplayer arenas and five multiplayer menu screens referenced in resource\missions. Attempting to swap files to load these maps will softlock the game. Attempting to load a menu screen will result in nothing happening.

The maps are named:

  • multiplayer_arena1
  • multiplayer_arena2
  • multiplayer_arena3
  • multiplayer_arena4
  • multiplayer_arena5

There are also loading screens located in the resource directory intended for these maps.

  • menumultiplayerpause2
  • menumultiplayerpause3

Survival Mode

Found in resource\missions are files referring to what seems to be some sort of survival mode. It is unknown if these can be loaded.

  • survival
  • survival3
