This is a sub-page of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • There's so much more...
  • The Xbox version has multiple revisions of several models.
  • There are gunboat models for all the characters other than Dingodile that go unused.

Main Characters

CSDingo.hgo

Dingodile's model that can be seen in some pre-release screenshots. This model was meant to be used for the intro cutscene, hence why he doesn't have a flamethrower.

Dingo2.hgo

Hmmm...
To do:
This model and the ones below it need matching renders.

An early version of Dingodile's model from the Atlasphere levels. Several parts of it are corrupted or have been overwritten. As a result, the model does not have any feet nor a flamethrower, which makes it look like a more incomplete version of the unused cutscene model.

Tiny2.hgo

An early version of Tiny's model from the Atlasphere levels and the opening cutscene. Just like Dingodile, parts of it do not load ingame, such as the front of his shoes and his backside.

ntrophy2.hgo

An early version of N. Tropy's model from the Atlasphere levels and the opening cutscene.

Cold Levels

Snowhog.hgo

A small blue hedgehog with spikes and a striped hat. This scrapped enemy appears in Arctic Antics in an early version of the game.

Plane Levels

NZoffa.hgo

An unmanned version of the plane that Cortex's henchmen use to attack you in the plane levels.

Tornado Alley Farm Animals

A cow wagon can be seen in the Gold Rush level.

A cow and a pig were meant to be seen in Tornado Alley. A shot of the unused cow model was used on the wagons in the level Gold Rush.

GunBoat.hgo

A Cortex-themed turret. This is used for the turrets that Dingodile controls in That Sinking Feeling, but the unmanned version is left unused.

Jungle Levels

Jungle Rumble Horde

Giraffe in an early screenshot.

Several stampeding animals meant to be seen in the level Jungle Rumble, but in the final game, only rhinoceroses are seen. They still remain in the game's code and can be put back in the level.

Research Base Levels

Mole.hgo

An anthropomorphic mole creature, likely meant to be seen in Compactor Reactor.

Underwater Levels

StFshBlu.hgo

A blue starfish.

Clam.hgo

A clam with big eyeballs.

Island Levels

plat 04

A smaller circle-shaped variant of the square stone platforms in Crash and Burn. These can be seen in prerelease footage of the level.

Other

DragFly.hgo

A squinty striped dragonfly.

Lion.hgo

A lion, purpose unknown.

Mouse.hgo

A small, orange, very simple mouse.

Bee.hgo

A small bee.

Geko.hgo

An oddly-colored gecko with a jetpack that was likely meant for use in a research base level like Fahrenheit Frenzy.

Wharthog.hgo

A warthog which was likely meant for jungle levels.
