Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3/Dragon Universe Text

As mentioned in the Main Page, it was intended that all characters in the game would have their own Dragon Universe Story instead of just 11 of them.
The text found in the language files contains all of the dialogue that would have been used for each character, including scenes that do not have any voiced dialogue in them.
The World Map Cutscenes are ordered by sagas first (starting with the Saiyan Saga, followed by Frieza Saga, Cell Saga, and lastly, the Buu Saga), then characters by their internal alphabetical order.
It also hints at some unused mechanics within Dragon Universe, such as the Scouter in Vegeta's section of the Saiyan Saga being an item you could find in the world map as other characters, instead of being auto-equipped, and asking around the World Map searching for the Androids.
All unused text is translated to all languages available for the game, including Japanese, despite the unused audio for Dragon Universe never being dubbed in Japanese.

Common Dialogue
These texts relate to events on the world map outside of character-specific cutscenes, such as characters finding Capsules, Dragon Balls, Money, etc. The characters follow a specific order; Frieza has two lines of dialogue (likely one for his 1st and Final Forms), and Super Buu has three (one for Base & the other two for his absorptions). There's also an unspecified character between Cooler and Broly (not Bardock, who's listed earlier) that either says nothing or some generic dialogue.
Nothing is found (Unused or Testing)
These lines of dialogue are unused, but could have also been used for testing purposes. The character would go to a spot on the World Map and find nothing. These are the only lines of dialogue in the Common Section that are actually voiced.

Finding a Scouter (Partially unused)
The Scouter is used in-game during Vegeta's section of the Saiyan Saga.
It works exactly like the Ki Search that the rest of the Characters have, but themed to be using a scouter searching a power level.
These lines of dialogue imply a Scouter could be found in the World Map as an item. It was most likely meant to be used for characters who have Ki Search disabled until they find a Scouter, as not every character has dialogue for when they find a Scouter.

An unused mechanic where you (most likely Dr. Gero after escaping) need to ask around to find the Androids, only to be told they were heading East, West, South or North (how the directions are ordered in the files).
There are 3 characters you can ask, 2 of which are most likely Bulma and Yajirobe, but it's hard to tell who the 3rd one could be.

It consists of text telling the player (as the main character) that they're out of power, and that they should press Select if they need help, which opens a menu that shows the controls of the Overworld Map.

One of the files contains names for three characters. It is unknown what they could have been used for.
Saiyan Saga Cutscenes
Cutscenes for the characters featured in the Saiyan Saga.
Nappa
Cutscene 1ː Nappa and Vegeta arrive on Earth. First thing Nappa does is destroy the city he landed on.
Cutscene 2ː Nappa and Vegeta decide to send in the Saibamen.
Cutscene 3ː Nappa and Vegeta arrive at Kame House. Bulma calls Saiyans (Vegeta specifically) handsome. Vegeta asks Nappa to leave, and Nappa wants to know what's wrong (similar cutscene in Vegeta's Dragon Universe).
Cutscene 4ː Nappa decide to step in, since the Saibaman can't handle the Earthlings.
Cutscene 5ː Everyone fights Nappa at the same time.
Cutscene 6ː Chiaotzu blows himself up and Tien dies, only for Nappa to survive.
Cutscene 7ː Krillin throws a Destructo Disc at Nappa.
Cutscene 8ː Nappa is impatient about Goku's arrival, and kills a Saibaman out of boredoom.
Cutscene 9ː Goku arrives.
Cutscene 10ː Nappa attacks Vegeta.
Cutscene 11ː Nappa and Vegeta explore Korin's Tower and Kami's Lookout.
Cutscene 12ː Nappa destroys another city out of boredoom.
Cutscene 13ː Nappa visits Baba's Palace, and he's told his hair will grow back when he leaves Earth.
Cutscene 14ː Vegeta tells Nappa that immortaliy means eternal youth, but Nappa doesn't want to be Vegeta's henchman forever.
Cutscene 15ː Nappa comments that Earth is full of weaklings. Then, he wonders if he'll become a Super Saiyan after he overcomes the barrier.
Cutscene 16ː Nappa destroys yet another city.
Raditz
Cutscene 1ː Raditz arrives on Earth, and asks why Goku hasn't erradicated the planet.
Cutscene 2ː Raditz detects Piccolo.
Cutscene 3ː Raditz arrives at Kame House and explains the backstory of the Saiyans to Kakarot.
Cutscene 4ː Radtiz sees Master Roshi and Krillin train.
Cutscene 5ː Raditz calls Nappa to Earth and tells him about the Dragon Balls. Raditz decides to take Nappa down, starting an optional fight with him.
Cutscene 5b[6]ː Dialogue before the fight with Nappa.
Cutscene 6ː Raditz comments that he has gotten stronger, probably even more than Vegeta.
Cutscene 7ː Raditz finishes off Vegeta.
Cutscene 8ː Raditz notices Goku, but feels something different about him.
Cutscene 9ː Vegeta arrives and Raditz talks to him about the Dragon Balls.
Cutscene 10ː Raditz decides to search for the Dragon Balls.... but he doesn't know what they look like.
Cutscene 11ː Raditz returns to Kame House and asks Master Roshi about the Dragon Balls. Master Roshi pretends he doesn't know, so he tries to bait Raditz into wishing for a hot girl to come over.
Cutscene 12ː Raditz destroys a city.
Cutscene 13ː Raditz visits Baba's Palace, and Baba tells him to return if he survives, so that she can give him a power-up.
Cutscene 14ː Raditz comments that he has to take over the planet quickly.
Cutscene 15ː Raditz comments that he had a hard time dealing with Goku, but feels he has become powerful.
Cutscene 16ː Raditz trains by fighting some Saibaman.
Frieza Saga Cutscenes
Cutscenes for the Characters in the Frieza Saga that has them.
Bardock
Cutscene 1ː Bardock arrives at Namek, commenting that Tora and the others are not here.
Cutscene 2ː Bardock kills someone with a big Power Level.
Cutscene 3ː Bardock finds someone with a Huge Power Level, who he kinda recognizes.
Cutscene 4ː Bardock comments about the visions regarding the extinction of the Saiyans, and insists the future can still be changed.
This is the cutscene where you would have gotten the Ultimate Attack Capsule.
Cutscene 5ː Bardock tries to convince other Saiyans on a bar to rebel against Frieza, only to get laughed at.
Cutscene 6ː The same scene as before, but the Saiyans do come to his aid.
Cutscene 7ː Someone from the Frieza Army comments that one of them (Bardock) survived and that they have to correct that.
This scene would most likely have Dodoria, but he's not in the game, so either Recoome or Ginyu are taking his place.
Cutscene 8ː Grand Elder Guru (?) comments that his child will change the future and taps into Bardock's latent power. Bardock is then confused as to what just happened.
Cutscene 9ː A scene between Bardock and Piccolo/Nail.
Cutscene 10ː Bardock arrives at a ruined village, and he detects a huge power level.
Cutscene 11ː Bardock arrives at Frieza's Spaceship and grabs a new Battle Armor.
This is the cutscene where you would had gotten an Armor Capsule for Bardock.
Cooler
Cutscene 1ː Cooler wonders why Frieza had to ask for help, but then he's reminded Frieza told him about the Dragon Balls.
Cutscene 2ː Goku's initial encounter with Cooler. This scene is also featured in Goku's Dragon Universe.
Cutscene 3ː Cooler finds someone he recognizes from Planet Vegeta (most likely Vegeta).
Cutscene 4ː Cooler notices someone with a great power has appeared.
Cutscene 5ː Someone tries to sneak attack Cooler, but it fails.
Cutscene 6ː Goku asks if Cooler was the one who defeated Vegeta, and then says he won't let Vegeta's struggle be in vain.
Cutscene 7ː Literally the same scene as before, but Goku is a Super Saiyan 4.
Cutscene 8ː Cooler finds Ginyu (as a frog), and surprisingly, he's able to recognize said frog as Ginyu.
Cutscene 9ː Cooler knows Goku didn't die with just a simple attack, and demands him to come out.
Cutscene 10ː Cooler asks if Frieza has no pride (due to calling him for help), and then decides to collect the Dragon Balls.
Cutscene 11ː Cooler destroys a building.
Cutscene 12ː Cooler comments that his spaceship is more expensive than Frieza's.
This could have been a cutscene where you most likely would have gotten the "Cooler's Spaceship" Capsule.
Cutscene 13ː Cooler finds either Nail or Piccolo and asks if he's one of Frieza's men. He feels insulted, noting he can transform once more.
This could have been a cutscene where you most likely would have gotten the "Final Form" Capsule.
Frieza
Cutscene 1ː Frieza talks to Dodoria about Vegeta's scheme.
Note that Zarbon and Dodoria are never seen and do not speak, same is true for the Scenes Vegeta has with them
Cutscene 2ː Frieza decides to take the Dragon Balls he collected to the ship to lure Vegeta to him directly, and get the Dragon Balls in Vegeta's possesion.
Cutscene 3ː Frieza orders the Ginyu Force to head to Planet Namek, as Vegeta may have all the Dragon Balls.
Cutscene 4ː Vegeta recovers from his wounds and tricks Frieza and Zarbon to get the Dragon Balls out of Frieza's Ship.
Cutscene 5ː The Ginyu Force arrives.
This scene is shared with Recoome and Ginyu, and Frieza has an additional line.
Cutscene 6ː Frieza most likely finds a capsule.
Cutscene 7ː Frieza visits Grand Elder Guru, as he can't get to summon Porunga. Nail tells him to go elsewhere to fight.
Cutscene 8ː Frieza and Nail fight.
Line 4 should say "Tell you what, to make things fair, I'll only use my left hand", but due to an error, it's displayed as a "0".
Also, this is only a cutscene: you don't fight Piccolo in Nail's costume.
Cutscene 9ː Nail finally reveals that the Earthlings have the password and made Frieza waste time.
Cutscene 10ː Frieza notices the sky has turned dark.
Cutscene 11ː Frieza is very angry about his dreams of immortality ruined.
Cutscene 12ː Same as the previous one, but the last line is a bit different (maybe an alternate route).
Cutscene 13ː Frieza transforms into his 2nd Form.
This could have been a cutscene where you most likely would have gotten the "Second Form" Capsule.
Cutscene 14ː Piccolo arrives.
Cutscene 15ː Frieza transforms into his 3rd Form.
This could have been a cutscene where you most likely would have gotten the "Third Form" Capsule.
Cutscene 16ː Frieza transforms into his Final Form.
This could have been a cutscene where you most likely would have gotten the "Final Form" Capsule.
Cutscene 17ː Frieza kills Dende.
Cutscene 18ː Vegeta claims that he's a Super Saiyan and that he can take Frieza down.
Cutscene 19ː Goku arrives.
Cutscene 20ː A longer version of the previous scene. Goku reminds Frieza of Bardock.
Cutscene 21ː Frieza survives the Spirit Bomb and is now going to kill everyone.
Cutscene 22ː Frieza decides to destroy the planet.
This could have been a cutscene where you most likely would have gotten the Ultimate Attack Capsule.
Cutscene 23ː Frieza decides to show his Full Power.
This could have been a cutscene where you most likely would have gotten the "100% Full Power" Capsule.
Cutscene 24ː Krillin comments that Vegeta can buy time (before Goku arrives) if he can hold on his own. Krillin also tells Gohan to hide.
This scene is most likely from the alternate route.
Cutscene 25ː Krillin decides to fight Frieza after seeing Gohan struggle.
This scene is most likely from the alternate route.
Cutscene 26ː Goku arrives and transforms into a Super Saiyan after seeing the others' defeat.
Cutscene 27ː Ginyu brings the Dragon Balls to Frieza and he tries to summon Porunga, but he can't get the dragon to summon.
Cutscene 28ː Frieza destroys a village.
Cutscene 29ː Frieza destroys another village.
Cutscene 30ː Vegeta can't get over Frieza's power.
Cutscene 31ː Frieza comments on how he begged King Cold to get him his Spaceship, then he finds "someone" (probably Ginyu as a frog) and ends up Destroying the Ship.

Ginyu
Cutscene 1ː The Ginyu Force arrives (This scene is shared with Recoome and Frieza).
Cutscene 2ː Ginyu hears that Burter, Jeice and Guldo are gone (which is why they're absent in-game) and decides to give whoever did it a lesson. Recoome comments that Goku looks tough. He then asks about his Special Technique.

Cutscene 3ː Ginyu finds out the Dragon Balls have been dug up.
Cutscene 4ː Ginyu tells someone that they're next for something.
Cutscene 5ː Vegeta tries to move the Dragon Balls, only for Ginyu to catch him.
Cutscene 6ː Ginyu Goku finds out the Dragon Balls have been dug up, and Krillin arrives believing he's Goku.
Cutscene 7ː Ginyu is liking his new body, and Gohan is next to fight.
Cutscene 8ː Ginyu really likes his new body, so he demands Vegeta to show himself.
Cutscene 9ː Ginyu destroys a village.
Cutscene 10ː Ginyu finds the frog he'll eventually become. He comments that the frog can actually sense Ki.
Cutscene 11ː Ginyu demands the other members of the Ginyu Force to find Vegeta.
Cutscene 12ː Ginyu asks Frieza what he thinks of his new poses.
Recoome
Cutscene 1ː The Ginyu Force arrives.
This scene is shared with Ginyu and Frieza
Cutscene 2ː Recoome notices a huge power level arriving, and wonders if it's Vegeta.
Cutscene 3ː The memebers of the Ginyu Force decide who gets to take on Vegeta, and Recoome wins.
Cutscene 4ː Recoome says it's going to be easy finishing Vegeta off.
Cutscene 5ː Recoome dares Gohan and Krillin to try to help Vegeta.
Cutscene 6ː Recoome is about to finish off Vegeta, only to be interrupted by a sneak attack.
Cutscene 7ː Recoome decides to fight Gohan next.
Cutscene 8ː Goku decides to take on Recoome. Recoome is baffled by his confidence.
Cutscene 9ː Goku says Recoome is going to pay for what he's done.
Cutscene 10ː Recoome destroys a village.
Cutscene 11ː Recoome tries to kill Nail, and he escapes.
Cutscene 12ː The Ginyu Force are practicing some liners for when they find Vegeta... Frieza is nearby.
Cutscene 13ː Recoome wants to show Ginyu a pose he's come up with, only for Ginyu to say he doesn't like it.

Saibaman
Cutscene 1ː Recoome encounters the Good Saibaman.
Cutscene 2ː Ginyu encounters the Good Saibaman, and decides to take on him out of boredoom.
Cutscene 3ː Frieza encounters the Good Saibaman. He hates Saiyans, therefore he also hates Saibamen.
Cell Saga Cutscenes
Cutscenes for the Characters in the Cell Saga that has them.
Android 16
Cutscene 1ː A scene between Bulma and Android 16. He thanks her for fixing him, and Bulma notes he sounds a bit emotionless.
Cutscene 2ː 16 thanks Krillin for bringing him to Capsule Corp, and meets Goku.
Cutscene 3ː 16 tells 17 and 18 to run away from Cell. 18 is worried about 16.
Cutscene 4ː 16 finds Ginyu (as a frog) and comments how the animals are in peace. He also finds a capsule.
Cutscene 5ː Conversation between 16 and 18 after the Cell Games. 16 asks 18 if she's going to live with Krillin.
Cutscene 6ː 16 comments that he survived the Cell Games and wants to live in harmony with nature, but he has to kill Goku first.
Cutscene 7ː 16 comments that if Cell Absorbs 17 and 18, the world will end and he won't allow it to happen.
This could likely be the first Cutscene when starting his Dragon Universe.
Cutscene 8ː A scene between 16 and Launch (?). 16 comments on a unusual looking animal (likely a dinosaur, as Launch is being chased by one in other cutscenes).
Cutscene 9ː A scene between 16 and Gohan before the Cell Games. 16 states he's still after Goku.
Cutscene 10ː 16 comments that it's time for the Cell Games, and that he has to stop Cell.
Cutscene 11ː 16 arrives at Goku's House. Chichi tells him he's not there. Chichi is then worried.
Cutscene 12ː 16 comments that he's as strong as Cell and that he will destroy him.
This could have been a cutscene where you get the Ultimate Attack Capsule.
Android 17
Cutscene 1ː Android 17 finds someone who seems to know Goku. They claim they don't, and gives 17 a capsule if he leaves.
Cutscene 2ː 17 asks 18 if she found any clothes she likes. She says she doesn't.
Cutscene 3ː 17 senses someone nearby, and decides to take care of them before dealing with Piccolo.
Cutscene 4ː 17 arrives at Goku's House. 16 detects he's not there.
Cutscene 5ː 18 asks 17 if they can get to Goku's House any faster. They also wonder why Dr. Gero stopped creating Androids from scratch.
Cutscene 6ː 17 asks 18 what kind of guy she would date, and she insists on someone taller and stronger (talk about irony).
Lines 7 and 8 are on the same sprite due to an error.
Cutscene 7ː 17 returns to Dr Gero's Lab to grab an item. 16 notes that humans have attachment to their birthplace.
Cutscene 8ː Piccolo warns 17 about Cell. 17 doesn't seem to care much.
Cutscene 9ː 17 arrives somewhere and someone tells him he won't find Goku, and asks why they are after Goku if they don't seem like bad people.
Cutscene 10ː 17 asks 18 about the "you-know-what".
This is the cutscene where you would have gotten the Ultimate Attack Capsule.
Cutscene 11ː 17 arrives at Baba's Palace, but Baba can't read his future. She does say however that Goku will beat them.
Cutscene 12ː 17 comments that he has to beat up Piccolo to find out where Goku is.
Cutscene 13ː 16 warns 17 about Piccolo's power being equal to 17, and gives him advice.
Android 18
Cutscene 1ː Krillin tries to talk the Androids out of going after Goku, and 18 kisses Krillin.
Cutscene 2ː The same scene from 17's Dragon Universe where 18 is asked about men, with 3 more lines of dialogue about 16 asking the same to 17, only for 18 to end the conversation.
Cutscene 3ː The same scene from 17's Dragon Universe where they return to Dr Gero's Lab, except the roles are swapped. Afterwards, the player gets a capsule.

Cutscene 3ː Trunks meets Yajirobe, who Yajirobe seems to recognize. Trunks then says his dad is Vegeta, making Yajirobe run away.
Cutscene 4ː A scene between Trunks and Yamcha, in which he asks how Bulma is doing. Trunks asks why Yamcha doesn't plan to compete in the tournament.
Cutscene 5ː Trunks and Goten talk about someone who's been trashtalking the competition.
