Unused NPCs & Creatures

Billy McShady

FO3ThePittBillyMcShady.png

Completely unused with no internal references whatsoever. Like many unused FO3 NPCs, he's not wearing any clothes. It's possible that Billy was intended to be related to John-John (the man who you encounter when you first enter the Steel Yard), as if you kill the Trog he's speaking to, he will mourner "Billy...". 2001046

Raider Fighter

Raider Fighters enjoying a romantic stroll in the craggy abyss of DLC01testGuardworld national park.

Fairly generic gun-wielding Pitt raiders intended to be fought in the hole. They are friendly and if spoken to, will open their mouths without saying anything or displaying an empty dialog box (like some unused NPCs). Female: 20071b0 Male: 20071b1

Slave Guard

FO3ThePittSlaveGuardMale.png
FO3ThePittSlaveGuardFemale.png

Unused NPC class. Both genders appear in an unused test cell, DLC01testGuardworld. Male: 2000f22 Female: 2000f1f

TestStreetTrog

FO3ThePittTrog.png

Differently-named Trog used for testing purposes. Appears in an unused cell TestTrogWorld. 2002be1

Test Characters

There are many test NPCs, none of whom are particularly interesting. One is a child, and most of the naked ones have ghoul-esque Pitt Rot skin textures. Some of the (relatively) noteworthy NPCs:

  • Test Person: 2001961
  • TestPerson02: 2002a57
  • TestPerson03: 2002a55
  • DLC01 Test Characters: 20028f8-20028fc
  • Test Liz: 200a397, 200a399, 200a39c, 200a3a0, 200a3a4, 200a35, 200a681, 2000a683

Unused Items

There aren't many unused items in The Pitt.

Ingots

Ammunition. Always pluralized. Uses the world model of railway spikes. These were intended for an ingot-firing cut weapon. A placeholder projectile mesh also exists using the same model. 200032e3

Steelyard Gate Key

A key. Unlocks nothing. 2005fb9

Unused Note

This has no name, so it was a terminal entry. 200a845

In response to the increased number of Protectron related injuries, I've placed a bunch of generic employee IDs next to the Factory Protectron Pod. The thing doesn't know the difference anyway so, please, if you've forgot your ID, just use the ones on the table. Remember to return them before you leave for the day, I only have so many.
