Unused Character Sprites

In Fortissimo, the character sprites are not layered. This means that the game needs to store a single image file for every character, body pose, clothing, facial expressions and size. In the original Fortissimo//Akkord:Bsusvier version, the game stores every single variation for every character, which ended up having over 6000 unused sprites! Some body layers and facial expressions were never used or copied to the subsequent versions. Most of these unused images were removed in Fortissimo EXA//Akkord:Bsusvier.

Yoshino Reiji

In the beach chapter, the player is placed in Reiji's POV, rendering his sprites completely unused.

Amamiya Ayane

There are a few unused facial expressions of Ayane when transformed into Walkure, since the hat covers her face. Aditionally, there is an unused body layer looking to the left, and another having her arms up, both of them with her hat still on.

Arizuka Jin

There are 2 unused body layers and 3 unused facial expressions.

Sanada Keisuke

Sanada-san is always depicted with glasses, but there are unused variations of his regular sprites without glasses. Additionally, none of his large sprite variations are used, hiding small details such us the cards.
