Frequency is the first publicly-released game by Harmonix, their first on the PS2, and a perfect time capsule of the early 2000s with its presentation and music choices.

Unused Songs

There's two (fully playable) songs in the game files that can't be accessed by normal means, and have to have the ISO patched to play them in-game. The reason these songs were cut is unknown.

BT - Godspeed

Godspeed by BT (who already has a song in the game with Smartbomb) is one such song, accessed on the 4th stage past the other songs that are normally there (in the same way the hidden songs are placed on the final stage).

Kareem Caines - Scratchotronic

Accessed on the 1st stage in a similar way.

Regional Differences

The European version has an extra song on the first level, placed between Exterminator and Ex-Girlfriend (Psycho Ex Remix): Why, by the UK band Reeload.
