Debug Mode

At the main menu, press Down 2x, Left, A. Then press B to exit to the title screen. Then, press Start while "PUSH START" is flashing on the title screen. Continue the code with Left 2x, Right 2x, Left, Right, Left 2x, Down 2x, B, Right. A sound effect will confirm the code was entered correctly.

Select はじめから(Start) on the Main Menu for the following options:

  • 1章 (Chapter 1) to 9章 (Chapter 9), which allows the player to start from any chapter within the game and pick from any of that chapter's scenarios.
  • スタッフロール (Staff Roll) - Plays the game's credits. It will boot the player to the below screen afterward.
  • グラフィックテスト (Graphic Test) - See most of the game's graphics, such as backgrounds, animated text, and character portraits.
  • サウンドテスト (Sound Test) - Hear the game's music and sound effects.

When the game is started up again or completed, another screen will appear with the following options:

  • デバッグモードで起動 (Start in debug mode)
  • 製品モードで起動 (Start in retail mode)
  • デバッグフラグの消去 (Clear debug flags) - The player can select between やっぱり消さない (Don't erase anything) and デバッグ用フラグの完全消去 (Completely erase flags for debugging).
